We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:

Join our remarkable and highly specialized nursing professionals on the Critical Care Float team.
Provide care in a wide variety of high-level nursing skills such as evaluating intensive care patients, administering care, recognizing complications and coordinating with other members of the critical care team.
Collaborate with team members and excel at interpersonal communication, leadership, strategic planning, critical thinking and decision-making. Education:

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Work Experience:

Minimum - One (1) years relevant critical care experience in an acute care setting. Telemetry experience.

Preferred - Two (2) years relevant experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification. ACLS certification.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Experience providing care to a diverse population of patients/families.
Commitment to providing nursing care that is patient and family centered.
Compassionate, non-judgmental, respectful and accountable.
Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.
Experience in teaching patients and families.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members. Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is a Day/Evening position with variable (8) eight and (12) twelve-hour shifts Monday-Friday and every third weekend between the hours of 0700-2330. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.
