*Advertised Job Summary:*The Department of Psychology invites applications for an open rank clinical professor faculty position to serve as Director of the Psychology Services Center (PSC), the training facility for clinical-community and school psychology doctoral students. The Director is responsible for ensuring that the PSC fulfills its dual missions of clinical training and community service. The start date is anticipated to be May 2021.
This position is an 11-month, full-time position within the Department of Psychology, with full employment benefits and full voting rights as a member of the clinical-community Ph. D. program. In addition to director responsibilities throughout the 11 months, the candidate will have a 2/2 course load during the fall and spring semesters and will provide adult practicum supervision in the summer. Primary teaching responsibilities are directed toward applied doctoral training.
*Required Education and Experience:*The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or Psy D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program, preferably with a community psychology emphasis.
Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship; licensed or license-eligible within one year in the state of South Carolina; experience in clinical supervision and expertise in adult evidence-based interventions, with a strong preference for third-wave, cognitive behavioral approaches.
