ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, PROGRAM EVALUATION, School of Medicine, Associate Provost Tracking Code0282 Job DescriptionThe Assistant Director for Program Evaluation of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute implements and manages multiple evaluation plans associated with programs that provide: (1) biomedical research training and (2) research services and resources.. This role requires a skilled evaluator with using participatory evaluation approaches in the design, implementation, & management of program evaluation plans that include mixed methodologies, metrics and dashboards, & dissemination plans for ongoing use of program data to demonstrate accountability for the attainment of program aims and ensure continuous improvement. To assess programs, the position works closely with faculty across all ranks (MDs & PhDs), physician-scientists, research and regulatory staff, and postdoctoral scholars/fellows, as well communication specialists to repackage data into publicly accessible stories about outcomes and impact. The Assistant Director manages research data analysts who support this role.
Required SkillsThe position requires a Master's degree with a Doctoral degree preferred. In addition the following is required: 1. Proficiency-level: Research methods & study designs 2. Proficienciy-level: Project management 3. Proficiency-level: Presentations, report writing, & graphical displays for data 4. Highly attentive to detail & 100% accuracy with all analyses and reporting because quality of work has direct impact on the Institutes's success in renewing its grant funding. 5. Ensures confidentiality of data.
