RESEARCH NAVIGATOR,MED School of Medicine, Associate Provost's Office Tracking Code1301 Job DescriptionThe Research Navigator position provides clinical research support to the Boston University Department of Medicine (DOM) and to the Boston University Clinical and Translational Science Institute (BU CTSI) General and Clinical Research Unit (GCRU). Advises and provides investigators and their research teams on available resources to facilitate the entire spectrum of translational science, including information on recruitment, recruitment standard methodologies, and helps to identify relevant resources, connect with specialists and understand processes and best practices for performing research at BMC/BU. Works under the direction of the Senior Research Navigator and assists in the development of trainings and best practices for Clinical Research Coordinators. Will work specifically with the BU Department of Medicine (DOM) at 50% effort to assess the needs of the Section and settle accurate course of action for study start up and implementation.
Required Skills
* Bachelor's Degree required, with 3-5 years of related experience with Master's preferred
* Experience working in a medical or scientific research setting or comparable technology orientated business environment preferred
