The Department of English at Kennesaw State University is committed to excellent teaching, scholarship, and service to the university and the community. *Job Summary*
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for multiple Spring 2021 only Limited Term Assistant Professor or Limited Term Instructor faculty positions, with the possibility of renewal.

*Responsibilities*
Limited term faculty positions available to teach general education English courses. Limited-term instructor positions are non-tenure track and contingent upon funding. The teaching load is five 3 cr/hr courses, with a primary focus on first-year composition. Faculty teach courses in a variety of modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online.

*Required Qualifications*
Applicants must have, at minimum, a Master of Arts degree in English (or a closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in English) or its foreign equivalent.

*Preferred Qualifications*
Ideal candidates will have coursework in composition and rhetoric. Candidates with experience teaching at KSU are encouraged to apply. A commitment to excellence in teaching is expected of all faculty members in KSU's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Experience in teaching and/or certification in hybrid or online formats and pedagogies is recommended. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching college composition and/or tutoring in college writing centers. Ideal candidates will also possess a Ph.D. in English. In alignment with KSU's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), applicants should also articulate a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
