YOUR ROLE

• This position will lead the installation of small-scale capital projects and support large scale installations for Henkel Bowling Green, KY facility
• Responsible for management of critical construction design and quality documentation per procedural standards for local organization
• Manage on-site contractors as a team member of the larger project team.Contribute to team through knowledge of construction practices by finding opportunities to reduce cost and decrease construction time
• Compile all critical construction documentation for proper closure and completion of all construction related activities
• Plan, coordinate, and/or supervise activities of company personnel on assigned project(s) to make certain work is completed under budget and on schedule.
• Ensure all project policies, procedures, and standards are followed. Maintain official project log and documentation files in order to track project statuses.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships.
• Ensure accurate construction reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance.
• Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Construction Management
• 4-7+ year professional experience including constructing multiple projects with values > $1 million
• Demonstrated use of project tracking tools to manage and communicate performance to key project deliverable and metrics
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and with associates and vendors from diverse backgrounds
