*Position Summary*

The Music and Theatre Arts Department invites applications for a full-time, nontenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor or a part-time, nontenure-track position at the rank of instructor to begin on January 1, 2022. Candidate credentials and experience will determine qualifications for either position. Candidates who meet qualifications at the rank of Assistant Professor are encouraged to apply. Local candidates are preferred.

* Teach theatre art courses for the Liberal Studies Program
* Participate in campus-wide department performances
* Lead or direct a significant artistic project with students each academic year
* Participate in the department and division monthly meetings
* Complete bi-annual assessment reports as required by the Institution's accrediting agency

*What you will need to be successful!*

* M.F.A. or Ph.D. from an accredited institution or equivalent accreditation with 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline.
* Demonstrated excellence in teaching and performance
* Ability to work successfully with colleagues in a collaborative setting
* Ability to foster a positive learning environment for students
