Overview:
the Psychologist I will conduct research developmental assessments with research participants, code research data, conduct inter-rater reliability trials, prepare summaries of research assessments for families, make appropriate clinical referrals where appropriate, supervise research assessments, and other related research activities.

Responsibilities:
Assess infants and children using standardized and non-standardized assessment instruments, write reports, inform parents of results, and make appropriate referrals and recommendations.Work with senior staff in the development of coding schema, and code research data.Participate in reliability trials and maintain reliability on test protocols and coded data.Work with senior staff on manuscript and grant preparation.Lecture on developmental issues related to autism.Participate in ascertainment activities through writing articles for the newsletter or website, and through giving presentations.Supervise and train testers in the administration of standardized and experimental measures as specified in all research protocols.Participate in departmental activities.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION:Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university is required.License eligible in Maryland or actively working on obtaining prerequisite for licensing.EXPERIENCE:A minimum of one year experience with research required.Must have experience working with infants and children with autism and other developmental disabilities.Must have experience administering standardized assessments.
