Associate Professor - Advanced Gynecological Surgeon

Overview:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School is seeking a full time fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgeon. Candidates should be fellowship trained and have demonstratable experience in advanced gynecological surgeries. The successful candidate will provide consultations for complex benign gynecologic conditions as well as participate in educational and research activities within the department. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at EVMS has 30 full time faculty and 75 community faculty. The Department services a large referral network and is renowned for its clinical expertise. The Department has 3 fellowship programs in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Minimally Invasive and Gynecology Surgery and Reproductive Endocrinology and is involved in academic and research activities with funded research by the National Institute of Health.
