The role
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to the post of Research, Impact and Knowledge Exchange Manager in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Bristol.
The postholder champions research, impact and knowledge exchange, and is responsible for a range of initiatives to enhance and support the high quality research taking place in the Faculty. This includes through close working with the Faculty Research Directors and through leadership of the Faculty Research Office.
The postholder also provides specialist professional expertise to proactively embed the understanding and collection of research impact across the Faculty and the development and dissemination of cutting-edge research beyond the Faculty.
What will you be doing?
The Research, Impact and Knowledge Exchange Manager provides knowledge of the research policy and funding landscape to support academic staff to produce high quality research and impacts. They provide professional leadership of the Faculty Research Office and develop and support the delivery of a range of initiatives to further the research initiatives and reputation of the Faculty.
The postholder will develop project plans and oversee their implementation, formulate guidance and provide advice, training and communications to support research and its impact dissemination.
