Helping students achieve professional success through education. We make learning and instruction exciting and engaging! The Registered Nursing Faculty will have the responsibility for instruction in theory, skills lab, or clinical portions of the nursing curriculum.Do you qualify? Yes, if you have experience in your field! Teaching experience is not required if you are an expert in the field and meet the below qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college which shall include courses in nursing, or in natural, behavioral or social sciences relevant to nursing practice.
- A minimum of one year continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area within the previous five years OR one academic year of registered nurse level clinical teaching experience in the designated nursing area or its equivalent that demonstrates clinical competency.
- Must have all required certificates, licenses and registrations required for the course(s) they are to teach including a clear and active RN license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing. As well as BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring Certifications in good standing
- Must have at least one (1) year of OB (Maternal Child/L&D/Postpartum/NICU) experience to cover Maternal Child clinical rotations for Maternal Child course.
