Responsibilities of the Principal Research Associate, Drug Discovery:
- Develop and execute on strategies to evaluate drug activity and mechanism; design and execute experiments; accurately record, analyze, and present data to team and company leadership.
- Progress projects through assay development and identification of new technologies.
- Work together with CROs to address key questions to drive the drug discovery process.
- Collaborate across functional teams to efficiently characterize drug candidates and move them to the clinic.
Requirements of the Principal Research Associate, Drug Discovery:
- B.S., or M.S. in molecular, cell biology or immunology, or related field with 3+ years experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated track record of providing significant biological insights to drug discovery efforts, especially in the areas of oncology, immunology and cell signaling.
- Ability to identify and answer key questions to drive projects that affect critical timelines through exceptional time management.
- Expertise in cellular and molecular biology techniques including primary immune cell culture, flow cytometry, and ELISA.
