Job Description
* Contributes as part of a team of AD scientists towards execution and development of various analytical methods to support biological therapeutic product release and characterization testing in a compliance-based environment.
* Independently performs routine testing such as but not limited to SEC, CEX, RP, P20, P80, Titer, Peptide and Glycan mapping - using established Test Methods, including associated protocol/report documentation and presentations.
* Conducts work in compliance with cGMP/GLP, safety and regulatory requirements.
* Responsible for working on other non-lab-based tasks from time to time if assigned.
* Demonstrate independent judgment in technique and method selection, protocol and study design and execution, data analysis and use of standard practices and procedures for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity to meet assigned objectives.
* Demonstrate HPLC, UPLC troubleshooting capabilities.
Qualifications
HPLC Sci I
* Bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical, or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related work/internship experience with HPLC/UPLC.
HPLC Sci II
* Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical concentration with some demonstrated experience with HPLC/UPLC (Empower and Chromeleon) or 2 years of demonstrated work experience with HPLC/UPLC based assays, Empower and Chromeleon data analysis software with a Bachelor's degree.
* Demonstrate some troubleshooting capabilities.
* Experience in high throughput technologies and automated liquid handling systems - TECAN, Hamilton is a plus.
HPLC Sci III
* Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical concentration with 2 years of demonstrated experience with HPLC/UPLC (Empower and Chromeleon) or at least 4 years of demonstrated work experience with HPLC/UPLC based assays, Empower and Chromeleon data analysis software with a Bachelor's degree.
* Hand-on troubleshooting capabilities is a must.
* Experience in high throughput technologies and automated liquid handling systems - TECAN, Hamilton is a plus.
* Experience with Mass Spectroscopy is preferred.
Qualifications Common To All Job Levels
* Knowledge of principle of HPLC/UPLC and theories of relevant techniques and basic understanding of industry practices and standards.
* Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
* Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
