Position Title Assistant Professor - Aerospace, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering Department
Position Summary
The College of Engineering at California Baptist University, an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in the Department of Aerospace, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering ( AIM ) beginning August 16, 2021. The individual will have a good command of English, will be committed to the excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching in both lecture and laboratory environments, and have a passion for teaching and working with students. Additionally, interest and experience in leading teams of students in cross-cultural settings, joining in the development of curriculum and laboratories, and working with industry partners is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to support the mission of California Baptist University. Qualifications
A PhD in a closely related field is required.
Teaching Responsibilities
A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach upper division courses related to materials and manufacturing processes as well as comprehensive mechanical engineering experimental skills.
