Adjunct Faculty, Animation and Game Development

Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus is now accepting applications for the Adjunct Faculty, Animation and Game Development position. This role prepares students for digital animation and game development related work. Allows students to gain skills that are central to contemporary industry best practices, with a focus on aesthetics, scripting, and modeling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assesses student needs and determines appropriate course of action to provide students with adequate referrals

Utilizes program analytics and faculty referrals to triage at-risk students and connect to appropriate support services

Assists students in becoming aware of and making use of college and campus resources, student services, and special programming such as academic tutoring, advising, career services, counseling, Single Stop, disability services, financial aid, and student life

Utilizes student success technology to provide outreach and support to students

Assists students in identifying goals and cultivates their strengths to develop a plan of action for goal completion

Identifies and/or provides high quality academic support services, including education regarding time management and organizational skills, study skills, and assistance with task analysis

Serves as liaison between students, faculty, and support services at the College
