The Computer Science department provides students with the skills they need to obtain entry-level positions in computer science and/or programming. Courses offered also prepare students in Computer Science and Engineering fields for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Courses offered in computer science include:

CSC 120 Intro to Computer Science and Object Oriented Programming

CSC 236 SQL Programming

CSC 237 C++ Programming

CSC 239 JAVA Programming

CSC 240 Database Programming

CSC 242 Data Structures

CSC 284 Advanced C++ and Objector Oriented Programming

CSC 285 Advanced JAVA

CSC 287 OOPL for Programmers

* Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related STEM field. A Master's degree and significant, related, work experience or skills in various programming languages will also be considered.
* Experience teaching Computer Science at the college level required; community college teaching preferred.
* Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student populations.
* Online or remote teaching experience preferred.

Salary: $1,132.00 per credit hour.
