The University College at the University of Iowa in collaboration with the Iowa Governors Council seeks a Southeast Iowa Regional STEM Manager to lead the science-technology-engineering-mathematics (STEM) education functions of the regional STEM network.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Lead STEM (science-technology-engineering-mathematics) education functions of the regional STEM network through the Hub located at the Kirkwood Regional Center at the University of Iowa campus in Coralville, including but not limited to regular and multi-modal communications with all STEM contacts throughout the region, maintenance of a database tracking all STEM activities of the region, establishing and maintaining partnerships with business, nonprofits, education entities, administering of grants and programs, coordination of evaluation and reporting, and management of and accountability for all funds committed to these functions.
Key contacts: Business leaders, education leaders, STEM program representatives, Regional Advisory Board members. Reports to and regularly communicate with STEM Council Executive Director and/or Associate Director.
