Overview...

• Responsible for study unit activities related to the conduct of clinical trials with emphasis on the safety and welfare of study participants while demonstrating the ability to provide consistent direction for all Clinical Pharmacology personnel (Clinical Operations and Medical Operations) in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating clinical research activities.

• Supervises the overall operations, assumes full responsibility regarding activities conducted, and maintains and upholds the Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) to standards.
• The position works in close collaboration with the clinical project teams, medical and biometrics affairs to help ensure efficient conduct of studies and is responsible for providing accurate clinical data to the Sponsors. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines while interfacing closely with Pharmaceutical clients.

Education & Experience...

• Master's degree in medical, business, or scientific discipline.
• Five or more years of supervisory experience of direct reports, and execution of multiple trials in parallel.
• Ten or more years' experience in clinical research.
• Required broad knowledge of clinical research and drug development.
• Specific and in-depth knowledge of ICH GCP and 21 CFR.
