Provide administrative support to the Director & Chair of Nurse and Medical Imaging Department.
Prepare, attend and record meeting minutes at faculty meetings
Organize, prepare and record minutes for Advisory Board Committee Meetings.
Attend Academic Review Meeting(s), take minutes and process outcome letters to students.
Maintain Student Files/Update Rosters for accreditation purpses.
Organize and coordinate the Pinning Ceremonies for both Nurse Education & Medical Imaging which includes working with Event Planning and IMC.
Schedule & coordinate student orientation sessions.
Schedule & coordinate mandatory Information Sessions
Work with Admissions on behalf of students interested in nursing and medical imaging programs.
Manage student database.
Order supplies for Nurse Education & Medical Imaging Department
Deal tactfully and confidentially with student questions and problems and refer students to appropriate college resources.
Provide assistance to all faculty members as requested; such as photocopying, recommendation letters, process forms, order supplies, etc.
Manage Director of Nurse Education's calendar, involving setting up student meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in office management. An Associate's or higher degree may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Demonstrated strong keyboarding, word processing and data base skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in composing documents such as memoranda, reports correspondence, minutes and emails.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of office management.
Strong proofreading skills.
Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

Preferred Qualifications:

Health Science background preferred.
Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently at a high level of productivity with minimal supervision.
Experience working in Higher Education.
Experience with Colleague (Ellucian) or other integrated information systems in higher education.

Additional Information:
Salary: $1,908.09 bi-weekly.
