Summary of Duties:

The Assistant Professor will actively engage in outreach and collaboration with agricultural animal producers and employees, industry stakeholders, government representatives, veterinary practitioners, and the statewide network of Extension educators. Outreach may include small and large group meetings throughout the state, on-farm programs, and development of new outreach media. An important element of these activities is outcome and impact assessment. These Extension programs will intersect with the faculty member's research and support on-going collaborative agricultural animal health research in the CVM and the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS). The successful applicant will serve as an important liaison between agricultural animal industries and food animal veterinary professionals.
