Job Description:

The School of Management (SOM) at Clark University, AACSB-accredited, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of finance position to begin fall 2022.

Requirements:

This appointment requires a doctorate in finance or a related field in hand by September 2022 from an AACSB-International or EQUIS accredited institution.

Candidates must demonstrate evidence of potential for teaching excellence in the areas of corporate finance. Candidates must have the ability to teach at the master's level. Preference will be given to candidates with prior business or finance experience.

Candidates must provide evidence of potential for scholarly research excellence, with the expectation of publishing in top-tier journals. The SOM has access to Bloomberg terminals and CRSP, COMPUSTAT, and Thomson Mutual Fund datasets through WRDS.

Additional Information:

The SOM offers an undergraduate management and marketing majors, an undergraduate finance major is under development, as well as MBA (full-time and online part-time), MS finance (on-campus and online), MS Management, MS Marketing, MS Business Analytics, and MS Accounting degrees. The MS in Finance program is part of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program that incorporates a significant portion of the CFA Candidate Body of Knowledge and helps students to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
