BRI, A Frontage Company, is a Contract Research Company (CRO) located in Vancouver, BC with a head office located at Exton, Pennsylvania. BRI specialize in bioanalytical LC/MS/MS, In-vitro / In-vivo Drug Metabolism / Pharmacokinetics and drug product pre-clinical and clinical development in Canada, USA, Europe and Japan.
We are seeking highly motivated team players that enjoy the fast pace, self-learning and highly regulated environment of a CRO.Position: Senior Scientist
Qualifications:

• Sc. or Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, bioanalytical chemistry, or related organic analytical chemistry
• A 7+ years hands on experience with bioanalytical assays for quantitation of small molecule and large molecule in biological samples plus a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
• Hands on experience on Waters or Sciex LC/MS/MS
• Understanding of experimental design and planning, data collection and analysis software
• Have basic understanding of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism principles
• Demonstrated ability in development and validation of bioanalytical assays
• Experience in working under GLP environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organization abilities.
• Competent and self motivated individual able to work independently.

Duties:

• Responsible for overall design, conduct and timeline of a study acting as a study director in GLP studies
• Communicate project timelines, status, and data to sponsors effectively addressing any issues that may arise
• Develop and validate unique bioanalytical assays and perform high-volume sample analysis for PK assessment and biomarkers measurement working with other team members
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Aid in the preparation of study summaries and/or reports
• Help with training and/or mentoring of junior scientific staff
• Ensure that GLP regulations and SOPs are followed
