Summary of the role:

The Associate Editor for Wiley's Education publishing program will be responsible for actively acquiring and managing titles consistent with project budgets and on schedule. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience acquiring authors or content, and a track record of achieving targets.

  • Maintain and strengthen author relationships.
  • Work in a team environment with excellence, leadership, creativity, and ability to work across a team of partners including production, marketing, publicity, sales, and finance.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong problem solving and technical appreciation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
  • Experience in writing or helping with business cases and plans.
  • Ability to use metrics to show delivery of business value.
  • Commitment to delivery/deadlines.
  • Experience and good track record with working within the team as well as colleagues/teams in other locations.
  • Self-motivation and flexible attitude.
  • The ability to offer support to management team in building and sustaining a high-performance team.
