The Department of Agricultural Economics, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for two full-time tenure-track positions with a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2022. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant Professor depending on qualifications. These positions are open in the broad area of applied economics. We are especially interested in candidates able to contribute to our department's three priority areas: food and nutrition; environmental sustainability and climate change related to agriculture; and policy related to these topics, either international or domestic. We seek individuals from diverse backgrounds to contribute to our department's learning and work environment. We invite applications from candidates with potential for high quality scholarship; a commitment to excellence in teaching; and a willingness to provide service to the university and profession.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in agricultural economics, economics, or a closely related field; strong potential for, or an established record of effectiveness in teaching, research, and service; strength in quantitative analysis.
