The Open Access Coordinator supports the work of the OA Policy Compliance & Resource Manager and, where applicable, the OA Team. Contributes to, and assists in, the coordination of resources and information relating to open access policy and practices at Wiley.

How you will make an impact:
  • Prepare materials and resources to support colleagues in understanding and communicating Wiley's open access policies and practices.
  • Undertake the collection of data, the preparation of analyses on OA programme performance and policy compliance, keeping the team informed of progress and issues.
  • Work with OA team members to conduct research and analysis of key competitor activities and policies, providing information to help support any internal decisions and policy changes.
  • Support Open Access team colleagues in appropriate initiatives (eg Workshops) as required.
  • Attend new product development and business review meetings and compile reports on initiatives.

We are looking for people who:
  • Have office/administrative experience.
  • Have experience of working independently without close supervision.
  • Are proficient with word processing, database, spreadsheet, and e-mail software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook).
  • Are detail-oriented; proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work independently on many different projects simultaneously.
