(HEO7) $89,399 to $99,987 per annum (pro-rata) plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply

Fixed term, part-time (0.4FTE) position until November 2022

An exciting opportunity exists to join the award-winning Careers team in the role of Career Education Officer, with a particular focus on the needs of international students. You will work in close partnership with a small team of Career Educators and academic staff to provide targeted and inclusive multi-modal careers support and development of career management capacity across the student population. This role reports to the Director Career Services.

To be successful you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, facilitation and evaluation of digitally enabled and scalable career education programs using a variety of methods including online delivery via Zoom, lectures/presentations, group work and individual assistance.
  • Experience in the provision of high-level careers counselling, including relevant career assessment and professional intervention in-person and via online technologies and phone to individuals and groups.
  • Proven experience in undertaking research, analysing information and statistics and database management.
  • Proven ability to engage with domestic and international students, industry, employers and internal stakeholders through business development, events and presentations on and off campus.
