Job Summary The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure-track position in Mathematics on the Gainesville campus at the Assistant Professor level beginning in August 2022. This is a full-time tenure-track position with benefits.
Responsibilities
* The faculty member will be expected to teach four classes per semester and to engage in service and scholarly activities.

Required Qualifications
* A doctorate in mathematics or closely related field is required at the time of appointment.
* Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential
* Background in statistics a plus
* Service and scholarly activities are expected
