Our hospital is recognized for its cardiology, oncology, neuroscience and orthopedic programs. MCFW serves as a tertiary referral center not only for Tarrant County, but also numerous counties within a 90 mile radius.

Critical Care Unit - RN

Position Summary

Busy pre-post Cath Lab unit whose team members exhibit exceptional teamwork in caring for our patients. Also assist the Physician with bedside TEE's, cardio versions and dobutamine stress echocardiograms on the unit and the ICU's.

Essential Skills to this position

Strong cardiac experience, with the skills and confidence to care for patients on multiple cardiac drips awaiting an ICU bed is a must. Ventilator and balloon pump experience preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills and teamwork required.

Education

ADN required

BSN preferred

License/Certifications

TX RN License or compact license is accepted

BLS required

ACLS required

Experience

Minimum 1 years progressive nursing experience with cardiac functions. Previous cath lab preferred
