The [College of Business and Administration](https://business.uccs.edu/) at the [University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)](https://www.uccs.edu/experience/about-uccs) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor position in Cybersecurity Management starting in *August 2022.*The position will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of Cybersecurity Management. Specific courses include risk management, organizational cybersecurity, cybersecurity technologies, ethical hacking or IT auditing. The position will introduce new courses (e.g. privacy, cloud security) depending on curriculum requirements. Classes in other areas will be assigned as needed and efforts will be made to find opportunities for the faculty member to teach in his/her special areas of expertise. Classes may be on-campus, online, or hybrid.The successful candidate should be devoted to teaching excellence at the graduate and undergraduate level, committed to high-quality scholarly research, and interested in pursuing community involvement. Cross-disciplinary research is respected and encouraged. The College of Business is AACSB accredited. All faculty are required to contribute to the maintenance of AACSB accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following:
Ability to publish in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals.Achievement in scholarship such as journal articles, presentations at academic conferences, and/or books/book chapters.Evidence of effective teaching and commitment to student learning. Relevant teaching experience at the university level.Willingness to engage with the business community.* Relevant industry experience.

An earned doctorate (or ABD) in Cybersecurity Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution. ABD applicants must have completed all doctoral course requirements and qualifying exams and must persuasively demonstrate that all degree requirements will be completed before the start of the fall 2022 semester.*Physical Requirements:*
