YOUR ROLE
- Research and develop groundbreaking technologies in our new Inspiration Center in Düsseldorf in the field of renewable materials with a special focus on chemical synthesis
- Lead a small lab team of qualified technicians and R&D projects critical to business
- Act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Adhesive Technologies both internally and externally
- Act as responsible for new research, intellectual property (IP), publications, technology roadmap
- Act as an advisor for management and steering committees
- Identify and engage valuable external partners and contribute actively to scientific publications and forums with papers and presentations
YOUR SKILLS
- PhD in Chemistry
- At least 3 years professional experience in industry or cooperation with industry in the field of organic chemistry (synthesis)
- High motivation to bring R&D results in high-quality products and business success
- Leadership skills to supervise a qualified lab team, convincing and influencing skills
- High team orientation as collaboration with other colleagues is key to success for this position
- Fluent English language skills, German skills are advantageous
