With extensive experience in the software development lifecycle, the Senior Developer is responsible for implementing new and enhancing existing functionality to meet the strategic needs of the university. The Senior Developer also provides technical guidance and development of more junior team members by fostering good technology practices in software development and keeping current with emerging trends.To be successful you will need:

- Extensive experience with web development using a framework such as Ruby on Rails/Symfony/Drupal.
- Proven experience developing using Object Oriented Design, Service Oriented Architecture and API design is highly regarded.
- Proven experience analysing existing application processes and designing and implementing improvements.
- Proven experience with relational data modelling and SQL is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and technologies desirable.
