*Job Id:* 732 *# of Openings:* 1 *Visiting Assistant Professor of Urban Studies and Related Social Science Discipline* The Urban Studies program at Wheaton College invites applications for a three-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic years 2022-2025, to begin in August 2022. Applicants must have attained, or be close to the completion of, a PhD in a social science discipline. All viable candidates will be committed to excellence in both teaching and research in a Christian liberal arts environment. Applicants with training in ethnographic research methods are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be jointly appointed to teach within the Urban Studies program and a program in the social science discipline of the applicant's expertise. *Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled*.
