*Position Highlights:*The Ziurys lab is looking for a Research Program Administration Officer I who will coordinate and administer the daily activities needed to support multiple research programs in Chemistry and Astrochemistry. Develop and monitor budgets, project milestones and allocated resources. Assist Principal Investigators (PIs) with drafting and editing program sponsor proposals and reports. Act as central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on multiple projects.

*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Manage the submission of research grant proposals with senior faculty, post docs, students and staff engineers, including budget development, development of other required proposal components, proposal editing, and creation and delivery of proposal package within sponsor online platforms (such as NSF Fastlane/Research.gov and NASA Nspires) for final review by UA Sponsored Projects.
* Monitor project milestones to ensure projects stay on course and/or to determine the need for timeline modification. Monitor project budgets and create budget projection reports to confirm that budgets are not overrun and resources are allocated appropriately to meet evolving project needs.
* Assist PIs with drafting periodic program sponsor and external stakeholder reports.
* Coordinate and manage meetings and information sharing between internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the success and completion of multiple grant funded projects. Act as the central point of contact among project stakeholders.
* Procure complex scientific instrumentation (capital equipment). Responsible for ensuring the internal UA procurement process is successfully completed from initial requistion submission, address capital equipment issues, and engage with UA Procurement Buyers to provide additional information or coordination with vendors.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
* 1 year of relevant work experience required.
