Tenure-Track Criminal Justice Faculty
Ouachita Baptist University, an accredited four-year private Christian liberal arts institution in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track position in the Department of Sociology to start Fall 2022. Terminal degree in hand preferred; ABD considered if degree is expected before start of employment. Scholarly expertise and/or coursework in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or related fields strongly preferred; candidates with additional background in other Sociology subfields will be prioritized in application review.
Typical faculty teaching loads consist of four (4) three-hour courses per semester. Other responsibilities include student advising, recruitment and retention, and committee obligations. Opportunities exist to develop and teach summer and online courses. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
