*Position Highlights:*The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is actively seeking a dynamic individual for an Assistant Professor, tenure-track position in any area of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong research program with extramural federal (e.g. NIH, NSF, FDA, etc.) funding and provide instruction to PharmD professional, graduate pharmaceutical sciences students, and BSPS undergraduate students.Excellent opportunities exist for research collaborations within an active community of basic and clinical scientists in academic departments across the University, as well as participation in numerous Centers of Excellence that include Arizona Center for Drug Discovery, Arizona Cancer Center, BIO5 Institute, Center for Innovation in Brain Science, the McKnight Brain Institute, Sarver Heart Center, Arizona Arthritis Center, Asthma and Airway Disease Research Center, and Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center.

*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Provide instruction in professional, graduate and undergraduate degree programs.
* Develop interdisciplinary research programs.
* Maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program.
* PhD in Pharmaceutics/Molecular Pharmaceutics/drug delivery.
* Educational background and demonstrated research track record in pharmaceutics.
* Post-doctoral experience required.
* Demonstrated track record of presentations and peer-reviewed journal publications in pharmaceutics and drug delivery.
*Preferred Qualifications:**Commitment to excellence in teaching and professional service.
