YOUR ROLE
•Ensure compliance to safety at all times. Follow processes in the plant and develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues. Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively. To have knowledge of operations and maintenance of Chemical manufacturing facility & Utilities like Reactors, tanks, pumps, scrubbers, Chillers, Cooling towers, thermic fluid heaters, N2 Plant etc.
•Supporting the project activities in managing erection and commissioning activities of instruments, plant machinery & utilities to make ways for setting up new facilities for production capacities of new products. Preparation of Master list of spare parts and maintaining adequate spare parts. Preparation of DQ, IQ, OQ protocol of the new equipment's. Installation, Inspection, Commissioning and Qualification of Process equipment's with respect of all services & facilities as per P&I diagram.
•Reduce in breakdown through Preventive / Predictive maintenance compliances. Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works. Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site.
•Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems. Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down, time and reducing unplanned downtime. Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management. Ensuring stringent adherence to Regulatory Requirements & practices. Documentation as per requirement for day-to-day running of the plant maintenance activities. Developing quality plans in co-ordination with production & quality assurance teams; enabling achievement of quality targets.
•Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department. Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors
YOUR SKILLS
•Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•Strong Written and Verbal Communication in English, Hindi & Marathi
•Other Skills - Computerized maintenance management software, Chemical plant exposure, TPM, statutory compliance etc.
•Exposure to Excise, understanding of Plant maintenance / project execution is essential
