The University is seeking to appoint a full-time Pensions Administrative Assistant to join our Pensions department. This post is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, focussed person to join our busy team, which forms part of the larger Transactional hub.

Main duties of the role include:
  • Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be learning all aspects of pensions administration while delivering a customer focussed and pro-active approach
  • You will perform manual calculations, and produce quotations/statements/transfer values using your excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • You will produce written correspondence to enquiries, as well as dealing with queries via the telephone

Ideally you will have an interest in financial administration and procedures, with the ability to work to legislative and company requirements.

You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively. You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a positive approach to managing a busy workload.

Excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills are required as is a commitment to providing an excellent service, and a flexible working approach.

Good IT skills including the Microsoft Office package are required.
