University of Bristol Students' Union role:

Commercial assistant required to support our enterprise team to generate income for Bristol Students' Union

We're looking for someone with the passion to support our Enterprise team in driving income throughout the year and offer great services to students. You will be a great administrator, instrumental in supporting the department in seeking and developing new business, onboarding clients and maintaining effective and meaningful relationships with them. You will be handling enquiries on email and phone, meeting people in person, connecting with local organisations, supporting inhouse commercial events and be the first point of contact for the department.

This is an ideal role for someone near the start of their career or someone looking to get back to work, where flexibility is a requirement. For this role, your skills and abilities are more important than your CV.

What's the job?

Role: Commercial Assistant

Hours: 35 per week (full time and flexible, part time applicants will be considered if appropriate)

Salary: £18,601 to £21,552

Contract: permanent

Closing date: 6th December (9am)

  • You'll have experience in in an office or administration environment.
  • You'll be confident with handling enquiries and using different communication tools.
  • You'll be great with people, building meaningful relationships from the start.
  • You'll have excellent organisational skills, able to plan and coordinate with great attention to detail.
