The role
We are seeking to appoint a Research Administrator to join an established and highly successful Research Team within the School of Education. The role holder will provide both administrative and practical support to staff across the School for all research related activities.
What will you be doing?
As an integral part of the Research Team you will provide administrative support and will act as first point of contact for enquiries and as a liaison point for all relevant internal and external contacts. Working within a team of Research Administrators you will prepare research documents, undertake data entry, manage a wide range of comms activity and provide executive support to relevant senior staff including diary management, planning and arranging meetings and arranging travel and hospitality as required.
You should apply if
You have experience of working in a research environment and have the ability to use your initiative and work independently. You will possess good IT skills with experience of website maintenance and have the ability to adapt to new systems and software, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential as is the experience of working within a team and being able to build effective and productive relationships.
