Do you want to help students to succeed after graduation by providing high quality employability and placement support?

This role will lead, manage and deliver employability opportunities for students, enabling them to succeed both as a student and once they have graduated. The role will provide effective managerial and administrative support for a range of employability interventions such as employer engagement, business development, placements, internships, events and workshops. You will be required to establish contacts with a range of placement providers and will need a proactive approach to develop new opportunities and build partnerships to deliver increased student opportunities. As we develop our service provision, it is expected the scope of the role my change and grow, so you will need to be flexible.

You will work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues across Schools, Faculties, Student Opportunity, the Alumni Office and LUU, sharing information, making connections and improving the service we deliver. At all times, you will be sensitive and supportive in relation to the student experience and ensure that student voice and inclusive practice is at the centre of all we do.
