*About the Department:* North Carolina State University is located in Raleigh, NC, within minutes of the technology-rich companies of the Research Triangle Park region and also near Duke University and UNC at Chapel Hill. The Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE) at NC State University's Poole College of Management have faculty with research programs in entrepreneurship, strategy, management of technology and innovation, organization leadership, and human resources. The MIE department and other departments in the Poole College of Management house several distinguished academic centers, including The Entrepreneurship Collaborative (TEC), The Entrepreneurship Clinic, Supply Chain Research Consortium, and the Enterprise Risk Management Initiative.
*Essential Job Duties:*The Assistant Professor of the Practice will teach entrepreneurship and innovation at the undergraduate and graduate level, and work within the entrepreneurship clinic at Poole College at North Carolina State University.

The position will also be expected to participate in departmental and college service activities as required by the department head.
*Other Responsibilities:*Perform other related duties as assigned by the department head.
*Minimum Education and Experience:*
* Master's degree in Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, or similar field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in entrepreneurship and innovation programming.
*Other Required Qualifications:*
* Extensive knowledge of entrepreneurship and innovation processes and be able to teach in a classroom and clinic-based setting.
* Experience with extracurricular entrepreneurship efforts and work with private or public organizations focused on innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
* Extensive knowledge of business processes, finance-related experiences with established and startup firms.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Prior university teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
