* Primary duties are classroom instruction of undergraduate mathematics with a commitment to student learning. Course assignments each semester may range from freshman level liberal arts mathematics to senior level courses. *Special emphasis will be placed on freshman level courses.*
* Faculty members should expect to be involved in department activities, student advisement, student recruitment, and mentoring students.
* Additional duties will include holding 10 office hours per week, participating in school or university committees/activities, attending two faculty development activities/workshops per semester, engaging in other scholarship, and attending commencement activities.
* Applicants who are available to teach both day and evening courses are preferred.
* Teaching opportunities during the summer may be available depending on enrollment. Summer assignments are not guaranteed.

* Applicants should have a Master's Degree in mathematics or applied mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants with areas of specialization that complement existing faculty.
* Applicant should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
* The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune-Cookman University.
* U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
* Applicants should have a Master's Degree in mathematics or applied mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants with areas of specialization that complement existing faculty.
* Applicant should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
