*DESCRIPTION*
Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:

* Preparing course plans and materials
* Delivering courses
* Monitoring progress/attendance
* Advising students
* Recording grades and submitting reports
Health & Human Performance / Exercise Science Instructor must have a Master's Degree and 2 years of professional experience. The following certifications are preferred:Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certified Personal Trainer Certified Sports NutritionistIn addition, some previous teaching experience is requested. Individualsreceiving offers of employment are required to timely comply with this policyprior to the commencement of employment by attesting to a completed vaccinationor receipt of HR vaccine exemption approval. Individuals receiving offers ofemployment from KU who do not timely comply with this policy will have theiroffer of employment rescinded.
Employees who do not want to vaccinatedue to a strong moral conviction must document this within our internal portal.Much like those with accommodation requests they must comply with wearing of amask while on campus per the CDC social distancing guidelines in addition tomandatory testing twice per week.
