The School of Nursing in the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) at Purdue University seeks applicants for the Kathrine Birck Chair in Nursing. This tenured faculty position at the full professor level is a named professorship recognizing a distinguished scholar who has made significant accomplishments in research important to nursing as reflected by a sustained funded research program with publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed research journals, and demonstrated excellence in mentoring. The successful candidate will also contribute to teaching and engagement. A registered nurse with a PhD degree in Nursing or related field and current academic rank of full professor, with tenure or equivalent. Evidence of a well-developed federally funded independent and/or collaborative research program required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills should be demonstrated. Previous mentorship of researchers across levels is expected and college-level teaching desired.
