College of the Ozarks invites applications for a full-time art faculty position to teach primarily courses in graphic design and two-dimensional foundations. The current graphic design program has a rich history in designing for print. The art department is seeking a candidate who can incorporate contemporary digital applications for design into the existing program. The position requires a Master of Fine Arts degree in graphic design or at least three years of design industry experience with an MFA in studio art. Prior college or university teaching experience is preferred. The candidate should be committed to working and communicating effectively with other faculty members and student workers and have the desire to continue the growth of an innovative and vibrant art program. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate must embrace the College's Christ-centered mission and demonstrate excellence in teaching undergraduate students, a commitment to serving as a mentor and positive role model, and an interest in the relationship of art and Christian faith. College of the Ozarks is a small (1,500 students), liberal arts, work-study college with a commitment to evangelical Christian faith and service located in southwest Missouri near Branson (www.cofo.edu). Send letter of application, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation (including one from your pastor) to: Dr. Eric Bolger, Dean of the College, PO Box 17, Point Lookout, MO 65726, or email hitchcock@cofo.edu. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
