Ecolab Quality IP team is responsible for Providing Quality support for the Post-Market Complaints and Non-Conformities Process within Ecolab's Infection Prevention (IP) business. Working Cross-functionally to ensure Complaints and Non-Conformities meet applicable regulations and are completed according to procedure and applicable regulations. Participate as a Quality representative for enterprise projects and others as assigned.

The Sr Quality Eng. for IP will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with RD&E teams, field sales and field service associates, manufacturing personnel, corporate accounts, Supply Chain, and customers on a variety of Quality initiatives involving Healthcare products in the areas of Hand Hygiene, Environmental Hygiene, and Surgical Instrument Reprocessing.

What You Will Do:
  • Partner and collaborate with Global Healthcare colleagues as a Quality Representative from Infection Prevention on enterprise projects and special projects as assigned.
  • Manage complaint handling process (including supervising the Quality Response team) for Infection Prevention Surgical.
  • Collaborate with other Ecolab facilities to ensure the complaint handling process is consistent and meets current standards.
  • Ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) processes necessary to comply with Complaint Handling processes
  • Engage necessary personnel to ensure the complaint, CAPAs, NCRs investigation and resolution are appropriate, accurate and timely.
  • Manage teams to comply to current requirements and standards.
  • Develop and maintain best practices in the area statistical techniques, consulting, and mentoring engineers across the network.
  • Capture, complete, Review and approve complaints.
  • Develop complaint, CAPA, NCR, etc. trending data and present as pertinent in corresponding forums.
  • Review and approve of product deviations for Infection Prevention Surgical.
  • Review and/or approve Corrective and Preventative Actions for the IP Surgical, or any other action that derives from a customer complaint, and assesses action taken for effectiveness, as applicable.
  • Evaluate field samples which includes working with Analytical Services, Microbiological Services, and other Shared groups at R&D.
  • Communicate directly with Sales/Service team to gather information, notify when samples are received, and to report results.
  • Compose individual customer facing reports on quality complaints.
  • Develop plan with corresponding team to ship, test, assess product samples that derive from a customer complaint. Communicates with customers concerning product complaints as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Science-related field (microbiology, biology, regulatory, statistics, etc.)
  • 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Technical writing
  • Balance and maintain priorities in a fast-paced changing work environment; must multitask and reprioritize as necessary
  • Be effective with remote team meeting participation and communication
  • Be able to Maintain positive communication with cross-functional team members as well as external stakeholders
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with US FDA QSR
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve results
  • Experience in Statistical techniques
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
  • Previous experience authoring procedures and/or training materials
  • Experience in introducing and establishing new quality management processes
