Summary: This is an open invitation to apply for the Golden Gate University School of Law's Adjunct Instructor Pool. GGU Law maintains a pool of qualified individuals who would like to provide instruction to GGU Law students in one or more of the areas listed below. At this time there may not be an immediate vacancy but candidates may provide their application to this posting.

Basic Function & Scope of Job:

The responsibilities of School of Law Adjunct Faculty are to teach assigned classes, seminars, and/or training skills course(s). Specific teaching loads will be determined by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs or relevant Law School administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Adjunct Faculty are responsible for planning and presenting the material assigned for their courses, seminars or clinics; establishing specific requirements and making them known to students; recommending texts; grading examinations and papers; submitting grades in a timely fashion; and explaining grades to students. Adjunct Faculty are expected to be available to meet with and advise students outside the classroom.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

A JD, LLM., PhD or comparable degree is required and at least five years of professional experience in the related subject matter.
