Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will start from a senior chemist and potentially become a lead chemist to supervise a chemistry group.
To design and develop synthetic routes on small molecules for drug discovery research and development
To perform process research and scale up on API and intermediates products
To prepare organic compounds on small scale and kg scale
To manage multiple projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. degree with 1-3 years postdoc training in academic or with 1-3 years industry experience in organic synthesis including synthetic methodology, multi-step synthesis and total synthesis with a proven track record of solving synthetic problems.
Knowledgeable and skillful on using LCMS, HPLC and NMR to routinely monitor reactions and identify compounds .
Strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a self-motivated team environment
Must be authorized to legally work in industry in USA
