Prisma Health, the largest not for profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a BC/BE Spine Surgeon to
join our growing team in the beautiful growing city of Columbia.

Join our team of four other experienced orthopaedic spine surgeons, two Non-Operating Spine Physicians, and
four APPs practicing at Prisma Health Orthopedics. Currently this position rotates between two of the seven
offices in the Columbia and Lexington areas. Healthcare providers serve patients throughout the region. The
Non-Op Spine Physicians perform cervical and lumbar injections at our Northeast and Parkridge offices.
Practices are within minutes of the hospitals providing an efficient transition from office, hospital and surgical
care and consults, where surgeries are performed. Those locations include Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge,
Prisma Health Richland, and the Moore Ambulatory Surgery Center.

The ideal candidate must be eligible for a South Carolina License, hold a doctorate degree, be board-certified
or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, and have completed at least one year of spine fellowship. This
position would be involved in Spine Trauma call at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, a tertiary referral center
and Level 1 Trauma facility with over 640+ beds. The ideal candidate would also have interest in educating
residents and medical students, as well as participation in research endeavors within orthopedics. Research is
supported by a research team which includes a PhD and research assistant.

Academic rank with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine is available and commensurate with
experience.
