The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates Inc. (MFA), an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with George Washington University, is seeking candidates with experience in radiation oncology for a full-time faculty appointment in a vibrant, growing academic practice in the Division of Radiation Oncology of the Department of Radiology. Non-tenure track appointment will be made at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor; salary will be commensurate with experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include providing care to patients with cancer and other conditions treated with radiotherapy, including Stereotactic Radiosurgery; Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy; brachytherapy; and external beam modalities. Applicants with experience treating gynecologic, gastrointestinal, and lung cancers are encouraged to apply. Faculty will also be involved in teaching students and residents in classroom and clinical settings and developing an active research program. Opportunities are available to participate in ongoing multidisciplinary clinical research projects and other activities of the recently established George Washington Cancer Center. The Center brings together the resources of the George Washington University, the GW MFA, and the GW University Hospital to expand current research efforts in the fight against cancer and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area.

Minimum Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be ABR eligible or certified and be eligible for medical licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
